Aandacht voor Shelter in ProSoundWeb
ProSoundWeb besteed aandacht aan de Funktion One installatie in Shelter Amsterdam, de club onder de A’DAM Toren. Hiervoor spraken ze met Shelters manager Merijn van den Heuvel en Bróna Lynch, hoofd technicus over de keuze van een vierpunts-opstelling: “I wanted to create a ‘bubble’ – lower SPL, higher impact – and a dancefloor that you walk onto and get sucked into. Instead of pumping sound in every corner of the club, we want a smooth, warm and full sound that doesn’t blow people’s ears off, which I feel is the norm in many venues. Hence opting to go for the four-point system. It’s the main part of the experience, to get immersed in the music. It’s what people come for, whether they realize it or not.”

Het Duitse tijdschrift Groove sprak met Tony Andrews over het bedrijf Funktion-One en zijn visie. Aan het einde van het artikel is een special feature over Shelter Amsterdam en een interview met Bróna Lynch: “THINK AV (the Dutch Funktion-One supplier) was the one who really understood and embraced the directive. There was a meeting of minds you could say. They were extremely open about the project and an absolute pleasure to work with.”

Think! investeert in Vero
Op de eerste dag van de Prolight+Sound in Frankfurt werd officieelbekend gemaakt dat we geïnvesteerd hebben in VERO, het nieuwste toursysteem van Funktion One
Tony Andrews (eigenaar Funktion One): “We’re really happy that there is now a permanent Vero system in the Netherlands; Remco fully deserves the business success he has worked so hard to achieve. I have no doubt that Vero will continue to impress and that Think! AV will benefit from being the main Vero operator in that area.”
